The Cats movie hits theaters today. The Broadway show turned film is being hammered by critics but that isn’t going to stop the stars from being proud of it.
Between most of the cast not being able to explain the plot of the movie to the way viewers reacted when the trailer first premiered — Cats probably won’t be the piece sweeping the upcoming awards season.
Reviewers have given some of the worst scores ever to the human-feline production.
One of the stars recently making headlines for other reasons claims that the critics don’t know what they’re talking about because they’ve never made a movie.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift is allegedly satisfied with how it came out.

‘Taylor put her heart and soul in writing a new song for the film and she is proud of her performance in the film. She is honored that she has been nominated for a Golden Globes award and anything else that comes from the film she is very happy with it. She had a wonderful time making it and she isn’t going to allow Cats reviews ruin what she got out of working on the film.’
Additionally, Jennifer Hudson feels the same way. The Dreamgirls actress is no stranger to musicals. She knows that no matter what the professionals say — it’s up to the people to decide of the movie is worth watching.
‘She knows that she brought her all to the role and is more than happy with how the film came out. She is not going to pay attention to any of the haters because she knows that her true fans will enjoy it.’
Social media users have tweeted that the movie sounds so bad that it just makes them want to see it even more for what they refer to as a ‘hate watch.’
