Cameron Diaz Flashes Engagement Ring After Benji Madden News: Photo

Body language and bling! As Us Weekly first broke the news, Cameron Diaz is engaged to marry Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden.

While the couple have yet to openly discuss their nuptial news, the actress unabashedly showed off a suspiciously big bauble on her left ring finger while running errands in West Hollywood on Monday, Dec. 22.

The Other Woman star, 42, dressed casually for the outing in blue jeans, a white top, and green military jacket. At one point, Diaz rather dramatically placed her left hand in front of her face, giving spectators a full view of a thick gold band on her ring finger. Diaz also wore the piece while taping The Graham Norton Show in London last Tuesday, Dec. 16.

Her engagement comes after a whirlwind seven-month romance with Madden, whom she was first linked to this past May.

“Everyone thinks it’s wild, but are so happy for them,” one insider told Us of their engagement news. “Benji tends to fall in love easily, but this time it’s for real and he landed a great girl. They obviously both make each other incredibly happy, and there’s nothing better than that.”

The one person who’s taking all the credit this holiday season for the couple’s future together? Benji’s sister-in-law Nicole Richie, who first set the couple up. “I approve of anything that’s going to make Benji happy,” Richie told Andy Cohen this past summer. “I’m going to take responsibility for everything!”
